As Hamlet famously said, 'To be or not to be, that is the question’...
This statement is something we all ponder at some point in our lives, not only when you are on the stage in front of an audience.
I studied an MA in Acting for Stage and Screen at the East London University and graduated with Distinction.
I trained for a year at IDENTITY Drama School in London.
As an actor it is helpful to learn various skills that can help you with your craft, that is why I have trained in multiple fields: Aerial Circus Skills, Firearm Weapons, Knife and Sword Fighting, Modern Dance, Pole Dance, Tennis and Yoga.
An actor is always curious about the world and their surroundings. I am no less curious than the next person, constantly learning and have now embarked into the world of music and singing- sorry mum! I consider myself to be a human of her time. I have lived in several different countries and have learnt some of these languages: English, Italian, Russian and Italian. Currently, I am in the midst of learning both French and Portuguese.
I have worked in the film industry since 2004 and have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the many different departments, up until acting knocked at my door and told me, 'Make up your mind girl - this is what you really want to do!' I have worked most of my life, if not all my life, predominantly abroad.
This is very interesting now that I think of it, as I have never done any acting jobs in my mother tongue – Spanish. However, I would really like to.
Currently, I am based in London and am keen to broaden my work opportunities to other parts of The United Kingdom and Europe.
* This is a project for my MA in Acting for Stage and Screen at UEL, London (2021)
While some voice actors excel at flowery prose but struggle with reactions, I can comfortably handle anything you need from me. From sonnets to shouting, I'm more than ready to help you get exactly what you need onto tape. Not only I am versatile, but I'm also very flexible and can work with your team to get my tones sounding exactly how you'd like them to on the day.
I love working as a model as it is another dynamic way to express my creativity.
I love the connection and energy created with the photographer as well as the magic that comes to the studio during the shoot.
I have modelled for several fashion brands: Self-Portrait, Rabeanco, just to name a few.
A few years ago, for the Self-Portrait campaign shoot they did something quite comical. All of the models had to learn a group choreography and we performed it midday at Liverpool Street Station. It was an impromptu dance flash-mob that was equal parts hilarious and fantastic.
I have also modelled with photographers for several personal projects and have collaborated with other artists on their own projects.
